Event Venue

The Cactus Classic Invitational is hosted inside the Tucson Convention Center with over 90,000 square feet of intense volleyball action! The TCC is conveniently located in downtown Tucson and provides the perfect venue for the Cactus Classic athletes and spectators.

Past volleyball events at the TCC include the 2023 Cactus Classic Volleyball Invitational, the 2011 and 2008 USA Volleyball High Performance Championships, the 2006 American Volleyball Challenge, and the 1998 USA Volleyball Open Championships.

In addition, the Cactus Classic Invitational uses Tucson’s newest state-of-the-art basketball/volleyball facility as a auxiliary site.  The Sporting Chance Center (SCC) housed the Cactus Classic Invitational since 2014 on 8 hardwood courts.

The SCC is also home to the tournament host, Club Cactus Juniors Volleyball Club, as well as other volleyball and basketball clubs.


The Sporting Chance Center is only 15 minutes from the TCC.

University of Arizona

Home of the Wildcats!

The University of Arizona is a public land-grant research university in Tucson, Arizona.  Founded in 1885 by the 13th Arizona Territorial Legislature, the UA was the first university in the Arizona Territory.

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a world-renowned zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden, all in one place.

 

Exhibits re-create the natural landscape of the Sonoran Desert Region with more than 300 animal species and 1,200 kinds of plants along almost 2 miles of paths traversing 21 acres of beautiful desert.

Misson San Xaiver

Mission San Xavier del Bac is a historic Spanish Catholic mission located about 10 miles south of downtown Tucson, Arizona, on the Tohono O'odham Nation San Xavier Indian Reservation.
